There's a lot going on, and I can't seem to put any of it into words yet. I need to be strong.

Tumblr is neat too. I love going back to some old sites now that twitter has kicked the bullet. Of course, being active on both is tricky... oh well. I end up just doing school work any way.
Right now, my main goal is to kick this depression in the ass, and keep fuckin' moving.
Then progress on my game is gonna continue... I'm working on it out of spite at this point, and am loving it. The working on it part, not the game rn.
Gotta make more art, and music too... it's been a while.

I'm still up, just very depressed. and very... very much trying to get out of the rut of inactivity and to find motivation.

AD&D 2E Spell Idea:
Acidify Water 5th Level (Alteration)
Comp - V,S
Range - 120 Yards
Duration - 4 rounds +1 round/2 lvls of the caster
Casting Time - 5
AoE - Special (Same as Raise/Lower Water)
Saving Throw - Neg.
By means of casting this spell, the caster turns a body of water into a body of burning acid. The acid is a foul smelling, sickly green liquid that, for other spell purposes, is also considered to be water as well as poison (This way, a Transmute Water to Dust or a Part Water may affect acidified water). Should someone come into significant contact with the acidified water, they will take damage as if they were hit by a Melf’s Acid Arrow. The acid has no attack or damage bonus, but it inflicts 2d4 points of acid damage (with saving throws for items on the target). (There is no splash damage.) For every three levels that the caster has achieved, the add lasts for another round, unless somehow neutralized, inflicting another 2d4 points of damage each round. So at 9th-10th level, the acid lasts four rounds, at 12th-13th level, the acid lasts for five rounds, etc. The water also stays acid for this duration. So if a pool of water is turned into acid by a 9th level caster, the pool will remain acid for four rounds.
The water is acidified within a square area whose sides are 10 feet long per caster level. Thus, a 9th-level caster affects a volume up to 18' x 90' x 90', and so on, a 10th level caster affects a volume up to 20’ x 100’ x 100’ and so on.
The minimum amount of water that may be acidified must be concentrated in at least a 1’ x 10’ x 10’ cube. After that, the water may then be distributed in any way, and still be acid. So this spell may target any body of water or other states of water, but this does exclude water in trace amounts, such as water in the human body or condensation.
Examples of targets include; A storm cloud raining down, thereby acidifying the rain coming down for the duration of the spell. A pool or moat of water, thus creating a toxic river warding off intruders. Any sort of fog, whether it’s origin is natural or from a spell. Snow, creating a solid cover on the ground of acid.

My current plan for my game is kinda non-existent. Still in colleg so time management has been prioritized there, and I have a job so that's a 30hr drain on each week... where does my money keep going anyway...? But I've been focussing more and more on music for the time being. Is it ideal? Not even a little bit. But I am getting some good practice in. Plus, I've got a few friends who are willing to put forth ideas, practice, and other useful skills towards this project. Really, I'm just kinda upset by how little I get to work on this thing, and when I actually get time to work on it, I feel no motivation to do so whatsoever. Hence, I've started doing it out of spite. Is that healthy? I'm told it's not, but I don't care, because it's getting results and that makes me happy. Really looking for someone willing to do pixelart/spritework, but seeing that my schedule is so finicky and my wallet is so light, it's gonna have to be a friend or someone otherwise willing to do so as a hobby. So far I got:
Now this is pretty much ideal for me, but as you can imagine, our schedules never align properly, and my sprite guy is hardly able to do squat, but I figure if I just remind him he'll help. I would like more people to help with this, but it's all a matter of finding more friends and trusted individuals.
Not to mention my degrading mental health having it's own toll on this, but I beleive that's neither here nor there right now. Though I will say, making journal updates for this game has made progress seem more managable. I might start making it a regular thing so I can feel more incentive to keep working on this thing. idk. Very grateful that I have people who are helping me with this, it makes me feel better all around.

And it's (hopefully) gonna play like Deltarune, Omori, Earthbound, other RPGs of the like. But the story is gonna be almost entirely based on a 2E AD&D campaign me and my friends have been in for the last 3 years. I've got a lot of plans, but I hope to cover just the first part of the campaign (Like the first 8 months in real time) in this game. If I can muster the energy and time, I hope to make at least four more games to catch us up to the present.
I'm really just following a guide on youtube on how to use GameMakerStudio, and their Discord server is super helpful too.
My goal is to:
And that last one, is more of a personal thing, as I typically look at most of my creations with great disgust and dissappointment. But I think this will be different. And who knows, maybe I can even make a dollar or two off of this.
Idk, wish me luck.
